"We want to take advantage of being in Panama to also cater to markets like Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Trinidad and Tobago,"said our president Mr Huang.

China and Panama established diplomatic ties in June 2017, setting the stage for increased cooperation, especially in infrastructure building.

 

More Chinese companies are likely to do business in the Central American country as they strive to expand their presence in Latin America.

The landmark free trade agreement between Mexico, Canada and the United States is currently undergoing a tough re-negotiation process, at the behest of U.S. President Donald Trump.

 

"We intend to offer the best products and services to Mexican consumers, as well as provide a better image of Chinese brands in Mexico," said our president.

 

Our president Mr Huang also noted that "the Mexican market is a priority," and we also wants to expand its market to the rest of Latin America and North America.

The U.S. market is very mature and full of competition, as it is the second-largest (automotive) market. For any Chinese automotive company, this represents a great challenge, as well as opportunities, to enter this market. 

 

We are improving our product development and technological offering to meet American rules and laws.
